3: Patrick Yurick & Adam Greenfield – MakingComics.com Gutter Talk Podcast

Adam sits down with Patrick Yurick to discuss what to do when comic inspiration strikes.

In this episode, Adam and Patrick discuss what steps one needs to take when they have their idea for a comic or graphic novel and aren’t quite sure where to go from there. Do I find someone to draw it for me or help? Do I do it all myself?

Patrick also discusses networking and drops some heavy philosophy: “The way into an impenetrable fortress of people is usually through a very small trap door.”

Deep.

Podcasts are great. I can listen to the good things you guys have to say and I can draw at the same time. Very wonderful! Thanks for your time. A site like this is nowhere else.

Beni9n, thank you very much! I’m glad you’re enjoying not just the podcasts but the site as well.

Keep listening! And drawing!! Just tonight I was in the process of setting up several interviews for upcoming podcasts and, well, if I had to choose a word I’d probably choose giddy.

I think everything published was very reasonable.
But, consider this, what if you added a little content?
I ain’t saying your content is not good., however suppose
you added a post title that makes people desire more?
I mean Making Comics Gutter Talk Episode 3 – Making Comics (dotCom) is
kinda boring. You should look at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create article
headlines to grab viewers to open the links.
You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab readers excited about everything’ve got
to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
