Woah, the OOTS Kickstarter’s at over $350,000 now. Good on him. Also, great hearing from Doug TenNapel, it’s always nice to know the creator of a show that gave me nightmares for years as a kid is such a grounded guy. :)
This is the best most energetic interview that I have ever heard. Very inspirational and very insightful. Every artist should hear this. Thanks for posting it.
Wow, that was a really good one, loved you guys talk about greatness. I have far lost my taste for jadedness and tearing people down. I did a one-on-one drawing-project with a 13-year old. It is just so rewarding to see him discover the value he has himself and the value of being valuable to others, through who he is and what he can make.
And I am definitely with you guys on telling grand stories than folky stories. Like the Chesterton books you were talking about, it´s just going to take a lot of time.
The comics-culture in Europe is a little different.
I’ll be expecting links to G.K. Chesterton’s and George Washington’s home pages.
Hey Georgewashington.com is available. Haha. Man, I really need to get some links up here soon.
Every comic creator should dress in their Sunday best, smoke a pipe, drink scotch, and talk Chesterton.
I listened to this recently, just forgot to comment.
I liked the interview, and you guys talking about greatness and all.
Never got into Chesterton. I tried reading one of his books but couldn’t get started for some reason. Maybe I should try again soon.
Know if “The Man Who Was Thursday” was any good?
Think I read something about Moral Relativism on the back, got my attention. Is it a story?
The man who was Thursday is one of my favorite Chesterton stories! It’s a mystery about a secret group of conspirators! I don’t want to say to much other than its like nothing else you’ve ever read and it’s very very good. Some other great Chesterton stories are the Napoleon of Notting hill and manalive.
Agree with Rocktapus. GREAT story. Weirdest Neil Gaiman ending.
Thanks!
This may be the best Podcast I’ve ever listen to, you guys should put this info in a book.
Suc ha good podcast.
By which I mean, such a good podcast!
Haha! Was that the iphone corrected version?
Thanks man!
No, I listened to it right from this page!
