“You need at least a decade to build up enough frustration.”

Oh, wow. So. Close. To. Home.

    Another good podcast, guys.

Had line work for an illustration job to do yesterday and listened to all of your pod casts one after another, loved them! Keep them coming.

  3. Loved part 2 just as much 1! Great stuff Jason and Daniel.

  4. I’ve been following Nate before he had success with Image Comics and I was always blown away by his art, so when he mentioned this blog on HIS blog, I had to check it out. I find this blog on the whole to be very informative and hopeful to people like me trying to break out into the industry. From someone desperate to end his ‘Day Job’ it definitely is a kick in the ass to try harder. I’m coming to realize that to make this successful you live, eat and breath your art. As well as do your research into what would make an attractive package online to present your work. I think that artists need to come together to help out each other in order to move forward in this industry. I look forward to another podcast, guys. Keep the flow of information coming.

Great stuff! I think you’re spot on about the age. One needs some life experience before great stories can be developed. Well, most of us, at least. I myself am soon 29, and only now I’m beginning to spark with story ideas.
